a few years ago, i decided i was going to play the guitar. i bought an electric, got myself some lessons from a nice polite brit, and proceeded to SUCK.
i was terrible. and i spent hours practicing. but after all that, i still sucked.
when i finally gave it up, i was kinda upset that i wasted all of that time practicing.
so after 4 years, i picked it up again, and much to my surprise, i didn’t suck as bad as i remember. my fingers still knew where to hit those strings, and after about 5 minutesm i remembered the G, the D, and the A chords. The E and C i felt like i never really knew in teh first place, but now learning those 2 are easy. for good measure, i did a little Emin, Amin, and lo and behold, i could probably play a song or two.
